SCR ELEKTRONIKS have developed Safety & Performance Test Set up for 3 Phase Air Conditioner for carrying out Performance Test, Earth Contact Resistance Test, High Voltage Test, Megger Test and Leakage Current Test. It consists of Voltmeters, Ammeters and Watt meters for observing the values of different parameters. OK / NOT OK lamps are also provided to display the results of Earth Contact Resistance Test, HV test, Megger Test, Leakage Current Test. All tests are provided with tripping cut off concept.

Variable current source for Earth Contact Resistance Test - 25 Amps MAX.
Variable voltage source for High Voltage Test.
HV test – 2kV /10mA max.
Tripping current selection: 2mA, 4mA, 5mA, 6mA and 10mA.
Tripping Insulation Resistance Selection: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 Meg. Ohm.
Auto and manual mode of operating.
Micro controller based timer unit is used to control operating sequence.
Separate wattmeter is provided for single phase and three-phase power measurement.
Two voltage settings for Routine test and low voltage test.
Indicating Lamp for OK, NOT OK, TEST ON indications.
The Test Panel broadly comprises of:Input Supply: 415V 3 phase supply, 30 Amps, 50 Hz with MCB protection.
Control ON/OFF luminous twin push button.
Indicator Lamps for TEST ON, OK, NOT OK, HT ON, Individual, ALL Tests, TEST Over
Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) for controlling and carrying out all the tests automatically in ALL tests mode of operation. Different parameters can be set through the keypad provided on this unit.
Select Test Switch for selecting the Individual / All Test Mode of operation.
Emergency Stop pushbutton.
START Test Push Button to start the Test Process
STOP Test Push Button is used to stop the test when required.
Reset pushbutton to reset the conditions before starting a new test.
Output Terminals for connecting the product to be tested and is present on the right hand side of the panel.
The test bench can be cutomized as per various user defined parameters such as high voltage and corresponding leakage current, constant current for earth contact, insulation resistance range as well as range of voltage and current.
The tester tests various safety tests of the domestic appliance and ensures safety to the end user (consumer) before being shipped. Also it ensures quality and reliability (hence life) of the appliance thus improving brand value.
